As Yao was preparing the medicine for his sick girlfriend, he heard her hoarse voice call out to him.

"Y-Yao!" The girl cried and she went into a coughing and sniffling fit. He rushed into her room and found her on the floor beside her bed.

"Aiyah, (Name), I was only gone for a minute. What's the matter?" he said as concern filled his voice.

"Sing. Sing for me." The girl said in her sick state. Yao was about to protest but he saw the sluggish look in her (e/c) irises and understood. She needed her sleep.

Yao pulled her into his lap and was about to ask what he should sing but he remembered something (Name) told him before they became a couple.

~Flashback~

(Name) was visiting Yao for the weekend. He decided to bring her to a beach for the day and they were currently watching the sunset.

(Name) broke the silence by saying, "You know, the sunset reminds me of a song called 'You are My Sunshine'. It's a really nice song and very soothing. I would love it if my future boyfriend sang it to me sometime in my relationship…" She trailed off and became absorbed in the sunset.

Determination filled Yao's amber orbs. He knew from that moment on that he would be the one to sing that for his beloved (Name).

~End Flashback~

Yao cleared his throat and said "(Name), I think you'll enjoy this." She looked up at him expectantly. Yao cleared his throat, smiled slightly, and began to sing:

(Name)'s eyes brightened in delight. He remembered! She was about to say something, but she didn't want to break the spell of the moment so she just simply started to sway with his singing. Yao smiled and followed suit.

(Name)'s eyelids started to droop. Yao's heavenly voice was casting the spell of sleep on her. She closed her eyes and rested her head on his warm chest. Yao put his head on top of hers, smelling her wonderful hair.

After the last note, (Name) had fully fallen asleep. Yao nuzzled his face in her soft and silky hair. He could feel himself getting tired also, so he succumbed to their shared warmth and fell into sleep's clutches also. The two lovers stayed like that for the whole night, relishing each other's warmth and embrace.
